The Job
Reid & Park Rock brought fifteen East Brooklyn developments into NYCHA's PACT program — 1,696 apartments across 87 buildings, towers to townhomes. Fairstead ran it as general contractor.
PPR renovated apartments in the buildings we were assigned.

PPR's Scope
Unit turnarounds in PPR's assigned buildings:
- New flooring
- New kitchen cabinetry and appliances
- Bathroom renovations
- Interior doors and hardware
- Paint throughout
Boilers, roofs, façades, windows, MEP systems, landscaping, a renovated senior center and a new computer lab sat with other trades across the wider program. PPR's line was the unit interiors.

Holding One Spec Across Building Types
PPR's buildings here weren't one type. A walk-up on Ralph Avenue, a building on Howard Avenue, a tower on Rutland Road — different layouts, different access, different staging, all needing the same finished result.
That's where a turnaround program either holds its spec or quietly stops matching. Unit 3E in a Ralph Avenue walk-up has to come out looking like a unit twelve blocks away. That consistency isn't a nice-to-have — it's the deliverable.
Different buildings. One finished standard.
Beyond the Apartment Door
The consolidation also delivered a renovated senior center and a new computer lab. This is a design rendering of the wider program, not PPR's unit scope.

Mixed building types didn't break the spec.
